In 2017, Year 9 curriculum students will receive free tuition in flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba, violin, viola, cello and double bass during class time as well as free group tuition outside of class on these instruments. In most cases the department will also be able to provide an instrument for these students to use free of charge. Please note there are still the regular charges outlined below for guitar, bass, drum, keyboard / piano and vocal lessons.
Indicate as per the instructions below next to the instrument(s) that you wish your son or daughter to enrol for lessons in. Select either: Grouped (Group lessons 3+ students); Paired (Paired lessons); or Individual (Individual, one-on-one lessons – available to Year 10–13 subject music students only).
In 2017 we also offer the ensembles listed below. Place a tick next to any groups your son or daughter is interested in taking part in. (NB: Some of these groups require separate auditions. Follow daily notices and see the Music staff for more details)
I give permission for the student named above to be enrolled for vocal or instrumental tuition. I have read the terms and conditions listed in the Music Tuition Programme booklet and understand there is an annual, non-refundable processing fee of $180 for each instrument enrolled in for group lessons, $250 for paired lessons and $450 for individual lessons (Paired and Individual lessons are available to Year 10–13 subject music students only). Fees are payable to Cashier by cheque or direct debit. Payment plans are listed in the Music Tuition Programme booklet.
