Congratulations to the 2nd XI boys’ Football team who are  winners’ of the 2018 senior reserve grade! The team, which has been ably led by goalkeeper captain Renier Muller, and vice-captains, Nathan Orrell and Nico Holmes, amassed an impressive record over the season. Following regional grading rounds and then competing Auckland-wide against mainly 2nd XI teams, they won 6 of 7 games this season. They were 1 of only 3 teams to have a positive points differential having conceded only 6 goals over 7 games. The team is coached by Keith Holmes and managed by Long Bay College’s Technology Head of Faculty, Mr Steve Dymock. The team is made up of a number of Year 11 students so the future of Long Bay College football looks strong. Well done  on a great season team!
