Congratulations to our 67 Long Bay College students who took part in the 2021 Summer Tournament recently and represented our College with pride. The teams competed around the North Island in Palmerston North, Tauranga and Auckland. We achieved some great results.
- The Premier Boys Volleyball team finished 15th in Division One at the Volleyball Nationals in Palmerston North.
- Our Premier Girls Volleyball team finished 12th in Division 3.
- Marley Straka competed in the North Island Secondary Schools Mountain Biking Competition placing 13th in the Cross Country Event.
- The Senior Girls Water Polo placed a creditable 5th in the North Island championships in Auckland and are getting ready to attend nationals in the upcoming school holidays.
- The Senior Boys Water Polo team finished in 15th place in the North Island champs in Tauranga.
- We had five teams representing Long Bay College at the National 3 v 3 Basketball championships in Auckland, with both the Year 9 Boys and Year 9 Girls finishing in the top eight. A Year 10 Boys team and a Senior Boys and Senior Girls team also competed.
