Long Bay College’s Board Of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of two Deputy Principals and warmly welcomes Mr Mike Lewis and Mr James Heneghan to our school.

Mr Lewis will join us from his position as Deputy Principal at Glenfield College where he has led student mentor initiatives with great success. Prior to this role, Mr Lewis was the Technology Head Of Faculty, specialising in Digital Technology. He resides in Torbay and his daughter attends Long Bay College while his wife, Ms Sam Lewis is our Biology Head Of Department.

Mr Heneghan joins us from his Assistant Principal position at Takapuna Grammar School and was previously the Science Head Of Faculty. He has led school-wide initiatives in e-learning and cross-curricular academic projects. Mr Heneghan is a father of two and lives with his family in Puhoi.

We look forward to Mr Lewis and Mr Heneghan beginning with us at Long Bay College in Week 10 of Term 3.
